719 Eyam to Foolow

The fields bounced with lambs as we chatted to a stone waller above Eyam. Ahead lay Foolow - nothing to do with fools, for it means frequented by birds. We finished by going to church, not the one in the village, but to Cucklett Delph, the rock arch where Reverend Mompesson preached to the villagers during the plague to reduce the chance of infection.
