598 Hog Lowe Pike

Exactly one hundred years ago Henry Kenyon left Haslingden Grane complaining the valley was too cold. It's seldom very hot round here, though in the afternoon sun we felt warm enough, but for generations the locals kept out the chill with a potent brew distilled below Hog Lowe Pike, a warming illicit whisky.
