The craggy summit of Bowland Knotts shows the Forest of Bowland at its best. Views stretch to the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and Lancashire's very own Pendle Hill, while on the moor are miles of solid gritstone walls. But just remember the men who had to build these walls despite the wind, rain, snow and hail.
