282 Middlewich

Middlewich has swans like most places have ducks, but without the help of Cheshire's Footpath Officer you too would have needed webbed feet to complete this walk. We were just congratulating ourselves on finding a splendid new route when we reached an impasse, for knee-deep water blocked the way. However a phone call to David soon sorted things out. "Don't worry, I'll have a digger down there by the end of the week to clear the ditch" - and he did!
